Avoid Losing Your Teeth and Keep Your Mouth Health with Minimally Invasive Gum Disease Treatment

Gum disease is a bacterial infection and inflammation of the gums that becomes worse over time if it is not properly managed. If left untreated, gum disease can result in the loss of teeth and negatively affect your overall health.

Dr. Le uses a minimally invasive, comfortable laser to treat gum disease and stop its progression. Thanks to laser therapy and Dr. Le’s experience, you can receive effective treatment without the need for traditional gum surgery, which relies on scalpels and stitches.

Laser = Minimally Invasive

Dr. Le uses Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) and Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) procedures to comfortably and efficiently treat gum disease.
LAPT is a safe and effective method of treating gum disease and works by decontaminating areas of disease with laser energy. The procedure reduces inflammation and bacterial growth in periodontal pockets, promoting healing and tissue regrowth. LAPT combined with deep cleaning keeps gum disease under control.
Dr. Le also uses LBR to help treat gum disease. LBR can be performed by Dr. Le’s hygienists at any regular cleaning appointment. The procedure uses low power laser energy to eliminate the bacteria that cause gum disease and gum recession.

By treating gum disease with LAPT and LBR, Dr. Le is ultimately able to save teeth that otherwise would have been lost.

Periodontal Maintenance

The office uses modern ultrasonic scalers to provide gentle, effective cleanings and deep cleanings. Ultrasonic scalers are more comfortable and gentler on the teeth.
Dr. Le’s hygienists will take the time to educate you on the best home oral care practices, including how to brush and floss properly, which helps keep gum disease in check.
