TMJ & Headaches

Relief from Jaw Pain and Discomfort

Effective Treatment for TMJ Problems and Headaches

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ), or jaw joint, connects the lower jaw to the skull. It is responsible for jaw movement and enables chewing, talking and yawning. Misalignment of the jaw, compulsive clenching of the jaw, injuries and missing teeth can lead to TMJ disorders.

A poorly functioning TMJ can cause a wide variety of symptoms, including tension headaches, jaw pain, earaches and neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Le treats TMJ issues by using non-surgical treatment such as laser therapy or botox to help ease the tension in the jaw joint which can relieve chronic headache and jaw pain.
